Description
Dust Mop Acrylic Spain 80cm-White, Green, Yellow & Red.
Cisne polishing mop is typically a cotton or micro-cotton blend flat mop head designed for both wet/damp cleaning and dry dusting of smooth, hard surfaces. The primary “polishing” action comes from its effectiveness at leaving surfaces streak-free and, in some cases, with a slightly shiny finish after cleaning, as opposed to a high-gloss mechanical buffing.
- Wet Mopping: The cotton content provides high absorbency for picking up liquids, dirt, grease, and dust efficiently. It’s used with water and cleaning solutions to deep clean floors.
- Damp Cleaning: By wringing the mop head out thoroughly, it can be used for damp cleaning sensitive surfaces like wood and laminate floors that are susceptible to water damage, as the microfiber blend helps the floor dry quickly.
- Dry Dusting: When used dry, the mop acts as a large dust duster, using static electricity to attract and trap dust, hair, and fine particles from floors, walls, and ceilings.
- Disinfection: The pads can be used with disinfectants to sanitize floors in hygiene-sensitive areas such as hospitals, restaurants, and hotels
Color Coding System: Color coding helps prevent cross-contamination:
- Red: This color is designated for high-risk areas, specifically washrooms, toilets, and shower rooms where there is a significant risk of bacterial contamination.
- Yellow: Yellow is typically used for clinical, medical, or infectious areas, such as in hospitals or isolation areas. In general commercial settings, it is often used for washroom surfaces like sinks, basins, and towel dispensers (surfaces not directly in the high-risk category).
- Green: This color is intended for food preparation areas and kitchens to maintain hygiene standards where food is handled. In some systems, it can also be used for general public areas like lobbies and hallways.
- White: White is usually reserved for the most sterile environments, such as clinical areas or operating theatres.
